An analysis of the NEO Bankside development designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners in relation to the infrastructures and networks the project operates within. NEO Bankside places itself at the heart of a growing luxury district in London, next to the world renowned Tate Modern. This connection is enabled both through physical proximity, and a larger marketing strategy. The above drawing highlights elements evoked in the marketing material of the development, spatializing this luxury network. The architecture is a modular system of units stacked within a larger structural frame. The arrangement of these units is defined by the projects marketing context, letting market forces (in this case views) directly shape the architecture.
